Although the line between sound and noise is often blurry, it’s without doubt that city vibrations are often perceived as noise, rather than sound.

This ‘noise’, however, plays a rather important role in the manner in which we perceive the world around us— enriching experiences in ways we deem mundane, until we imagine them without.

Viewing them, rather, as a composition of interrelations within environments, Urban Soundscapes was conceptualised to create a virtual space celebrating the sounds of the city. It aims to shift perspectives around urban noise, and inspire its audience to take a step back and observe the world around them— to be mindful, and seek beauty within chaos.
